I’m Dr. Leslie Korn. I’m a Harvard Medical School trained traumatologist who specializes in using nutritional and herbal medicine for mental health and optimal brain function for people of all ages. I combine the science of holistic medicine with the art of compassionate, personalized care.
Meet Dr. Korn
Many people call me their health activist.
If you’re asking “what does that mean?” I totally understand. You might not know someone like me exists. Essentially, I work with clinicians who want to grow their practice beyond conventional mental health treatment to learn how to do truly integrative work, and with people who have been to every doctor and healer on the planet, yet still don’t feel great emotionally or physically.
I show my patients and clinical students how to incorporate more natural approaches to achieving vibrant health. I educate you about how to eliminate or decrease pharmaceuticals by introducing nutritional therapies, culinary and herbal medicine, detoxification, and yoga, into do-able daily routines to reach optimal health and happiness.
I promise you. If you improve your food you will change your mood! Let me show you how.
I am known for cracking the tough cases – the people who have tried “everything” with no real lasting success. Both individuals and professionals come to me for my expertise in understanding the mind-body connection.

Both informative and entertaining, some of my speaking topics include integrative mental health, enhancing cognitive performance and slowing aging, nutritional therapies, traumatic stress, diversity and cross cultural health, and addiction recovery. I consider the WHOLE PERSON when diagnosing and creating a treatment plan. And I use a scientific approach and proven protocol to medical and mental health challenges. I put all the pieces together.
I mentor new and experienced clinicians who want to incorporate mental health nutrition and natural medicine into their practice but are not quite sure how both ethically and clinically. As a Board Certified Approved Clinical Supervisor I also provide case supervision so that you have the support and guidance to include these new methods.
For more than 40 years, I have been honored to work with and serve indigenous communities in Mexico, the US and Canada to support the revitalization of traditional healing methods and culinary and herbal traditions.
