Welcome, and I’m so glad you’re here! As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, I am dedicated to empowering women to nurture their well-being through a holistic approach that integrates soul, mind, and body. I believe this process is supported by a stronger connection with God, increased self and body awareness, confidence-building, and embracing one’s authentic truth. Meeting my clients on their therapeutic journey, I encourage them to embrace their emotions without shame and begin the healing process, moving forward with strength.
As a Certified Integrated Mental Health Professional with a Christian focus, I take a whole person approach to mental health, utilizing evidence-based treatments. Through a client-centered approach, we work together to explore healthy habits, engage in purposeful soul work, clarify your priorities, and identify your strengths. Therapeutic techniques may include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Biblical guidance, nutritional assessments, mindfulness practices, and motivational interventions. With your dedication to the process, our goal will be to keep sessions brief and focused on creating the life you envision.
I typically team with clients who are struggling with grief, anxiety, depression, stress, substance abuse, life transitions, relationships, and trauma. My style and approaches have guided children, teens, young adults, individuals, and families to identify healthy self-care routines and coping skills to become more resilient, reach their goals, and thrive.
With the use of assertive communication, active listening, and compassion, I create a comfortable environment that is non-judgmental for you to feel safe discussing experiences. Through these discussions, you can help me identify your growth needs, and we can move forward in trying new things together.
With over 12 years of experience as a social worker, I have had the privilege of working with clients from diverse backgrounds and cultures in non-profit, public, and government settings, helping them navigate challenging emotions and life situations. Over eight years ago, I transitioned into mental health care as a clinical social worker, which deepened my passion for collaborating with clients and witnessing the positive transformations they achieve through their efforts. At the same time, I have continued to coach and train social workers to effectively support their clients.
My goal would be for us to establish a strong working relationship and set a foundation of trust. We’ll use our conversations to develop a personalized treatment plan, cultivate new skills, and support your progress. As we move forward, this will look like reviewing measures and treatment goals to ensure we’re on track to meet your objectives.
In our first session, we will complete the intake assessment, we’ll explore your unique needs, and discuss what has prompted you to seek support during this season of your life. At the same time, we will determine if we make a great team by getting to know each other and establishing a positive therapeutic connection.
I look forward to meeting you!
