Part of having a successful, 40-year career myself is sharing my knowledge and experience with those who are just starting out or making a career change.
One of my great joys is helping students and professionals define their vision and goals for the short, middle, and long term. After doing this, I help you identify strategies and tasks that will move you into a rewarding career that will engage your purpose and nurture your passions.
I believe that honoring and acting on your creative vision while you also address practical needs leads to a path of personal and professional fulfillment. And if you don’t know exactly what direction to go in, or you have conflicting ideas and feelings, we can explore this together and help you gain clarity.

I have taught and counseled at the BA, MA, and doctoral levels in departments of psychology, psychiatry, medicine, education, counseling, naturopathy, nutrition, acupuncture, public health, and health education, and I have also worked and consulted internationally.

I stay current with evolving higher education and career opportunities in the health and human service fields, including advocacy, environmental and international work, and can help you determine which credentials will serve you best, whether earning a certificate from Columbia University or from Naropa University, enrolling in an MPH program or an acupuncture school, or volunteering in the 3rd or 4th world.
My Experience
I have received federal and state grants, and my career has spanned clinical care delivery, policy development, nonprofit program development, fundraising, for-profit start-up, public speaking, keynotes, government advisory boards and consulting, and research and publishing in all types of venues both nationally and internationally.
With this breadth of experience, I will support you to find the best opportunities for bringing your passion and work to the world.
