Javier Omar Meléndez-Vega is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and decolonial trauma therapist whose work centers on healing the wounds of colonialism, disconnection, and ecological rupture. Rooted in Eutierria Therapy, his approach invites individuals and communities back into right relationship with land, ancestry, and collective memory.

Javier specializes in working with intergenerational trauma, eco-anxiety, identity fragmentation, and the psychological impacts of systemic oppression. His practice integrates trauma-informed care, liberation psychology, Indigenous knowledge systems, and community-based healing frameworks. Rather than focusing solely on symptom reduction, he supports clients in reclaiming cultural belonging, relational wholeness, and earth-connected identity.

He is the founder of Eutierria Connection, a community platform dedicated to reindigenizing mental health practice and fostering ecological stewardship as a pathway to collective well-being.
