My Process and Fees for Practice Building
Here is where we start:
1. Application
Fill out the Application form and tell me a little about yourself and what your goals are for creating or enhancing your clinical practice. They might be well-defined, or perhaps you want to work with me to clarify those goals. Wherever you are in the process is just fine. I welcome hearing anything you wish to share.
2. Schedule Your First Appointment
I will contact you to schedule your first appointment. My schedule runs about 6-8 weeks in advance, though I can place you on a cancellation waitlist if you have an upcoming deadline to prepare for. Please add dkorn@protonmail.com along with drkorn@protonmail.com to your address book. Note the small difference.
3. Payment
Following confirmation of your initial 75-minute Zoom appointment, you will receive a link and request for payment. You should make this payment within 48 hours to hold your appointment time.

My review and analysis of your paperwork including your goals, resume, or CV
Your first appointment (75 minutes via Zoom)
I’ll provide you with a personalized action outline
And a brief practice planning assignment to help you reach your practice goals
Additional follow-up appointments are billed at $285/hr.
What Happens Next?
Upon receipt of payment, you will receive:
a. A confirmation
b. A link to download paperwork
c. An encrypted email address to safeguard your information
Paperwork
Please return your initial paperwork and any previous labs, at least 3 days before your appointment.
Our First Appointment
During our first appointment, I will get to know you, ask additional questions based on your intake form, and share some initial ideas and approaches.
Developing Your Personalized Plan
Following our first appointment, we will develop a working outline that is personalized based on our discussions. You may have planning to do to prepare for our follow-up appointment. You may send me a quick email between meetings with questions or updates.
In my experience, clinical practice building involves creating a roadmap that can include visioning, goal setting, creating a timeline, defining financial and legal resources, goals, and potential obstacles.
I will help you prioritize your focus and timeline together, access resources and go at an optimal pace for you.
Second Appointment
In my experience, a follow-up appointment is most effective when occurring within 4 weeks of our first appointment. During our second appointment we will continue to refine your goals, address concerns, doubts and ambivalences and explore valuable resources that will help you achieve your goals.
Together we will set priorities and establish a step-by-step plan that gets you closer to your goals.
Following Our Second Appointment
My goal is your success. I will continue to support you as needed.
Second and follow-up appointments are billed at $285/hr.
Option—Single Practice Building Consultation
If you are seeking only a single consultation, or you are not yet sure if you want to dive in, you may make this specific request in your initial email. The fee for a single consultation is $445.00 for 75 minutes.
