Recipe: Cashew-Apple Smoothie to help you Focus

Cashews and apples are a perfect combo for focus and attention. Bananas are rich in tryptophan which also lifts mood and supports focus. Make this Cashew-Apple Smoothie recipe a “family affair”: Ask family members to help make these smoothies and contribute their ideas for variations.

Cashew-Apple Smoothie

INGREDIENTS

2 tbs. raw organic cashews
One quarter of a sweet apple, coarsely chopped
Half of a banana
3 tbs. organic full-fat coconut milk 1⁄4 cup coconut yogurt, dairy yogurt, or kefir
1⁄2 cup milk of choice (hazelnut, almond, hemp, etc.)
1 tbs. ground flax seeds
1 tbs. chia seeds

DIRECTIONS

• Add all ingredients to a blender, in the order they are listed, and blend until smooth.
