La Dra. Leslie Korn es una reputada experta en medicina integrativa para el tratamiento del trauma y sus secuelas físicas, incluidas las enfermedades digestivas crónicas, el insomnio, el dolor, el abuso de sustancias, la diabetes, el deterioro cognitivo y las «enfermedades inexplicables». Ha prestado más de 65.000 horas de atención clínica integrando psicoterapia y terapias somáticas con medicina nutricional, culinaria y herbolaria. Completó su formación en la Facultad de Medicina de Harvard y en la Escuela de Salud Pública de Harvard. Está licenciada y certificada en 4 disciplinas clínicas.
Ha sido profesora en Harvard en el departamento de psiquiatría y profesora en 2 escuelas de medicina naturopática. Vivió 25 años en la selva de México, donde trabajó con curanderos indígenas y dirigió un centro de salud gratuito. Su práctica clínica se centra en ayudar a los clientes enfermos restableciendo su salud y reduciendo o eliminando la medicación.
Su práctica como mentora se centra en ayudar a los médicos a crear una carrera profesional de éxito, basada en la medicina integrativa y el trauma. Su ética de la compasión y el cuidado se basa en valores feministas de justicia social y en su amor por los perros.
